Raining Blood

<sub>Trapped in purgatory
A lifeless object, alive
Awaiting reprisal
Death will be their acquittence

The sky is turning red
Return to power draws near
Fall into me, the sky's crimson tears
Abolish the rules made of stone

Pierced from below, souls of my treacherous past
Betrayed by many, now ornaments dripping above

Awaiting the hour of reprisal

Bleeding its horror
Creating my structure

Another piece from my ''Heavy Metal Art'' project (Man, I'm original!). This is a song by Slayer, called ''Raining Blood'', from their 1986 album Reign in Blood. The song itself isn't what I illustrated it to be about, the song is about overthrowing God and Heaven, but the title of the song struck a chord with me, and I had this idea of an invisible man in a field of white, and then it starts raining blood, and the blood coats him, allowing us to see him.
